Your favorite way to be active. Why do you love it?
Walking around the city and people watching and just wandering. It’s peaceful, I love to observe and it’s a great time to just think and take in the amazing city I live in.

Three ways you get inspired
Instagram, conversations with friends, professional mentor relationships

What makes you feel strong?
Actually getting in the gym and lifting weights (dumbbells, barbells) or using cable machines. I don’t see enough females do it, so I feel uniquely confident and empowered in that way. I also feel strong when my self-motivation leads me to forge ahead on a project at work or solve an issue that improves efficiency.

You’re in a room of teenage girls, what is the best advice you can give them?
I think I would really just stress to them that life is about developing, growing and finding yourself. It’s not a step-by-step process and every single person works differently. Never compare yourself to anyone because it blocks you from seeing your own potential. Be uniquely you and don’t apologize for it.

Who is one female, other than your mother, that propelled, supported, or gave you an opportunity in your life or career? What was her best advice?
My twin sister. She is supportive in a very abstract way. She often pointed out flaws as her form of support; that’s probably her form of constructive criticism. She was a good mirror for me to learn and develop and find my own flaws and what I wanted to be. She now runs her own business and seeing her chasing her passions is another motivator for me to go after what I love and strive for the stars.

I think in 2017 it’s important that women…because…
support women because for far too long it’s been a competition, BUT it should be an alliance!

The best thing a woman can be is

For Fun

List three things you love right now
Brooklyn, trouser socks, red lipstick

What song/playlist pumps you up?
“River” by Bishop Briggs – such a badass woman song in my opinion

What is a goal you have in 2017? Why is it important?
Find a platform for my fashion posts; get recognition at a higher level. Fashion is my passion, but I want to be a legit source for advice and styling.
