Your favorite way to be active. Why do you love it?
Winter sports. Skiing is my absolute favorite, there’s not many things out there that are better than hitting the slopes on a gorgeous winter day. And it helps that it’s the only sport I don’t hurt myself doing.

Three ways you get inspired
Reading about Audrey Hepburn. She is so effortlessly flawless and anytime I need to feel that way too, I find a book or an interview and put myself in a trance.

This might sound lame but Pinterest is a huge one. It’s so awesome for any kind of motivation whether it’s how to dress when you’re feeling bold, getting in shape or working on a skill.

Also, finding a cute new coffee shop to check out always inspires me. I think it has something to do with being in that calm environment and somewhere new. The caffeine doesn’t hurt either!

Find yourself in a slump, how do you motivate yourself?
I take a personal day. In the crazy lives we all live, it’s easy to forget to care for yourself. So I set aside a day or a couple hours if time is limited to just relax and do the things I love to recharge myself. Whether it’s listening to an uplifting playlist, a face mask, a nap, watching seasons of SVU in one sitting. It helps me feel reenergized and thinking clearly. Mental health days are important!

Also coffee, lots of coffee. 🙂

What advice would you give another woman regarding body image?
That “comparison is the thief of joy”.  This is so important. If everyone looked the same the world would be positively boring. The world needs individuality, and I personally think it’s what makes women so beautiful.

I think in 2017 it’s important that women…because…
I think it’s important that women in 2017 remember to stick together. Every year, things become more progressive in our country and opinions grow stronger. We need to remember to respect and even open our minds to what other women think. We need to empower each other not setback someone because of their individuality.

What is the best way to bounce back from a failure/mistake?
It’s cliché but learn from it. Personal experience is the best way to learn from something. Think of it this way, I tried fried pickles the other day and didn’t like them (I know, I know) so now I know to never eat fried pickles, at least for awhile.

The best thing a woman can be is

We’re genetically built to be emotionally deeper than men (sorry, boys). Passion makes even the smallest of things feel important. It’s what makes our lives meaningful. Without passion, there’s a lack of emotion. And even though we might not realize it, emotion is what gives us the feels we live for and help shape us as people. (Yes, even the almost unbearable emotions we go through during a break up.)

For Fun

What song/playlist pumps you up?
Anything by Blink 182. Literally anything

What is a goal you have in 2017? Why is it important?
To save $$$. With student loans piling up and adulthood approaching, I need to put myself on a strict spending diet so I can live life without scraping by.

What beauty product can you not live without?
Tinted moisturizer. Best 2 in 1 product EVER. Especially with the winter and lack of sleep of being a college student. Something that’s easy and fast to put on AND makes me feel like a decent person on a Monday?  YES.
